COMPUTERS AS CHASSIS:
Artificial intelligence is growing on over humans in various ways. One of which is in automobile industry. Use of computers in automobile industry is growing at a quick rate.
In-fact after the numbers are out its estimated that between 2020 and 2026 a CAGR incrementation of vast 35% is to be expected. But is AI too successful in cars? Are they trusted to be relied on? Well with a few more changes, the answer is yes. How? Let’s find that out.
With all this growing AI there is also a growing rate of error that is to be dealt with. This error basically causes mistakes in program and makes It harder for the user as to use it and in some cases, it can cause a lot of trouble as a slightest mistake can lead to a great loss. For example- accidents, malfunctions …etc.
To overcome these types of mistakes we have to make our car not 100% AI dependable.
That is what we’re going to do. Our idea is to make a software that runs through your cars and helps you determine potential threats and occurring situations. The software is called Ayudar [ASSIST]. What it actually does is assist you with various things in prior. For example, if I drive down a sharp turn and suddenly the next moment a car runs through the opposite side. In situations like the chance of accidents increase a lot. Almost 40% of road accidents happen at intersections resulting fatalities and severe medical conditions.
To prevent such event from happening our software will be installed in each that has been sold or is running live on streets, it will detect cars that can cause future threat to you or can result in an accident.
This software will have an unlimited range so it can detect cars from a long range, not just close cars but cars that far away, or crashed sites or working construction sites can also be detected in this. In order for not making, it 100% AI dependent we are giving a full user control option which when enabled the user can change settings and for those who are not so comfortable with AI or Software functioning there also is an automatic mode.
Software will warn you and the other vehicle driver that a car/bike is coming from that direction and chances/possibilities of an occurring unfortunate event.
This product will basically be used in TFT [thin film transistor] screens or cars/bikes running on roads and the software then will be installed inside of the screen and the user will have all the control to it.
To explain the user how it will work a user guide will also be provided. Guide will have each and every information user need in a simple and customer understandable way and every language will be given in there.
The screen will be feasible to every car as it will be installed as a 3rd party module.
Based on the current situation of nations world-wide and from a customer’s perspective right now, with such high rate of error in our current going services.
The product to being such accurate on what it does Consumer demands will be on peak as a lot of accidents can be stopped by this, which at end shows that it brings a wave of welfare to the society by the company.
So, from a wide preceptive of consumer demands and ongoing situations product ultimatum requests will be high.
COMPETITION WITHIN MARKET:
For relevance companies like tesla have currently made 100% AI self- driving car systems which are very precise and accurate but as mentioned whenever success rates have increased, rates of error or malfunction is also increased in a short period of time. We’ve seen a lot of cases in which AI has failed to overcome circumstances.
Along with that companies like BMW, Mercedes, VW etc. have developed many SONAR based system to keep a check of your surroundings but these system are range limited and can only sense danger from a particular distance so the productivity rate of such system if comparatively less.
Compared to our system which gives user 100% freedom to move things around and help the user to assist their drive there is less chance of software malfunction and high chances of it helping the user face problems.
So, to sum up Ayudar does less things but is accurate and when implemented causes less problems with a high accuracy rate.
In Ayudar software every customer owning a car/bike will be eager to imply as it helps them with safety measures.
We right now are thinking of taking an official permission with government to make this product compulsory for every running car.
Doing this will help every user in many ways and will greatly help to reduce the fatality rate.
REFERENCE, RESEARCH AND KNOWLEDGE:
For this project to work we need a hard-working team from CSE background to code algorithms in software chips that we will then place inside the TFT screen. Connections will be assured by our electronics department, making sure that everything stays up in place and nothing goes wrong.
Our main research areas will be from CS background as making algorithms in languages are not simple and working on it requires skilled labor.
Technologies like location detection [ GPS tracking], precise acceleration of vehicle, making algorithms to build such interface that is easy for every age group to understand easily, hardware such as high-quality screen with fast refresh rate [ to refresh and show situation quickly], GPS receiver end and high-speed connection if needed. These items will be necessary.
GROSS BUDGET PLAN:
This project being not 100% AI based will consume less funds making it much easier to implement and transfer to various points at low cost. Consumer would pay less, as it being a government project will be released to society as a transforming change.
But even after that 3rd party Custom AI software can cost $3000 to $6000.
Building a custom TFT screen for the software can cost around $300 to $500 per screen
Module cover shells, building charges, designing charges, Engineering charges, permissions for access/satisfying criteria’s and electrical equipment charges can cost around $450-$550 per screen.
Testing the product in different criteria’s and managing changes will cost $1000-$1500
So, a gross estimated budget for the project per year $16,00,000-$18,00,00 per year which for a startup company Is high but for an accurate and developed theme project the outputs also matter. So, outputs in this project won’t be set high as this project is a welfare and also affiliated with government but enough credits will be taken the overcome the cost of the project within 6 months of launching the product.
COST AND BILLS:
As we discussed about the estimated price of product will be $649.99 per vehicle which will give company some profit as the product will be reliable this will last for a longer time which will give consumer satisfaction and a good trust over the company.
For the advertisement of the product will be done mostly by the government and car companies themselves as this product will be compulsory to add in any future sold car or any running car.
The remaining awareness regarding the usefulness of this product will be done through television advertisements and billboards which together will cost somewhere around $14000 for a 30 second advertisement on television and 2 weeks of billboard advertisement.

RISK AND ERROR FACTORS:
As we know AI technology comes with a certain % of error. Making this project with the minimal error % possible was a difficult task but can be done with some experiments.
Still some minor risks in this project during implementation can be-
1. Leaking information- live tracking information sent to our servers can be taken down by a criminal group of hackers or programmers. But In protection for so, we can build a strong firewall which will prevent this from happening by a major %.
2. The hardware can fault on its own as it has wires or can be broken due to mistake. Fixing such things can consume time but with an efficient working team we can solve this problem easily and effectively.
3. Further problems will be examined and will be fixed during the test of the product.
From this project the company only wishes to contribute towards the wellness of humankind, AI and automobile industry.
For the planning and discussion of each set of steps in this project about 6–8 month will be consumed,
for the designing and programing of this project around 4–5-month time will be required,
for making a prototype and testing the features along with trying it out on small level will take the next 2–3 months and finally investing in the project and starting production under legal circumstances around 6-month time will be consumed
so, finally a total or approximately 2 years are necessary for the product to be completely out in market with its full potential.
The company estimates the return from the product after 2–3 months of constant sale and customer feedback.
The total estimated investment will be taken either in shares or by government capital.
The company will receive the overall production cost in about 9 months if the production goes constant and in about 14–16 months profit cost will be used to make new project for society welfare.
