Police arrested a man who attacked three people in three separate incidents in downtown San Diego on Sunday, sending all of them to nearby hospitals, according to San Diego police.
The SDPD charged the man with various charges including theft, assault with a deadly weapon and assault to commit a serious or sexual crime, the SDPD said.
Attack #1:
The first attack was reported to police at the Horton Plaza parking garage in the 900 block of 4th Avenue, where a man stole the victim’s keys, then struck him with a piece of wood. and left the victim bleeding from the head, according to San Diego. Police Officer John Buttle.
The suspect was described as a man in his 30s wearing a San Diego Padres jersey, police said.

Attack #2:
Officers received reports of a sexual assault while investigating the first assault, police said.
A woman was sexually assaulted near the Happy Head print shop on Market Street and taken to the hospital, according to police.
The description of the female suspect matched the description of the first victim.
The police who responded to the assault noticed a man with the same description in the area and arrested him, but the difficulty, said the police.
Attack #3:
While arresting the suspect, the police found another assault in or near the Ralph’s store at 101 G. St.
The third victim was hit in the head and face with a wine bottle and was taken to the hospital, according to SDPD.
