SAN DIEGO – There’s nothing like family support when one needs it most, especially for the brave North Park freshman who received help from her grandfather during a performance on a talent show.
School St. Patrick in San Diego on Friday released a video from the London first-year talent show dressed in Tin Man singing “If I Only Had A Heart” from the classic film The Wizard of Oz.
When London was just before the performance, she was overcome by a brief fit of trepidation. But then her grandfather came to the rescue, rising to the stage to help.
London, with her grandfather by her side cheering and dancing, showed her heart when she sang the song beautifully and even gained motivation from the applauding audience.
The endearing show ended with her London grandfather embracing her and the crowd roaring.
Grandpa’s actions show how you can always count on those you love.
