SAN DIEGO – The city of San Diego reports that its reservoirs have collected 7 billion gallons of water from recent storms as well as runoff.
The city made the announcement on its Instagram page on Saturday.
Officials said the billions of gallons of water the reservoirs have received is enough to supply all of its 1.4 million residents for six weeks.

The city stated that San Diego is still in a drought, although this is good news.
Local leaders here have provided ways to conserve water.
Officials are encouraging everyone to stay vigilant to conserve water.
