From linear regression to build an OCR system. Probably the most famous course out there, and for a reason. Andrew Ng, professor at Standford and one of the most important personalities on the field is the instructor of this introductory course to the Machine Learning world.
I would consider this as a must for everyone that really wants to understand the basics of AI from scratch.
The course has over 150k reviews with a global score of 4.9! So you can imagine the quality of the content and for free!
Compared to the previous one, this is a more in depth course. The 2021 edition is still in progress and the course schedule can’t be more interesting. This year includes speakers from top companies in the field, such as NVIDIA or the MIT-IBM Watson AI Lab itself.
The previous year’s introduction became viral. It showed a deepfake video of Barack Obama welcoming everyone to the course, demonstrating the power of these algorithms. In my opinion, an impressive and controversial way to make people interested in the technology.
3. Full Stack Deep Learning (UC Berkeley)
Last one (but not least) cover topics from collecting the data to deploy your model into production or how to monitor the performance of it.
Even though this is a more advanced course, it is a great resource when you want to start your own deep learning project.
This year’s edition is still in progress, but you can also visualize previous year’s material, including labs and an end-to-end application from scratch! Totally worth it.
